Praedium provides welfare services to livestock farms.  Responsibilities included training farm employees and management, reviewing welfare of animals and developing welfare programs for farms.  Protocol and SOP development and implementation with herd veterinarians and nutritionists.

This program shared some duties and responsibilities with the Dairy Production Medicine Program.  Dairy calf and cow health and management teaching in the didactic program on campus.  Provided consultations with practicing veterinarians.
